  • Yes. The Balance Project is a registered nonprofit organization.

  • We have applied for 501(c)(3) status and once approved, your donation will be tax-deductible from 8/1/2025 onward. You’ll receive a donation receipt via email for your records.

  • Donors will have the option to choose how their contribution is used, whether to directly fund a specific community's efforts or to support the broader initiative — or both.

    Support earmarked for The Balance Project overall helps fuel the development of future programming and content for use across all communities, operational costs, and growth and expansion efforts, whereas support earmarked for each community will go towards that individual community’s specific goals for the year.
