Donors will have the option to choose how their contribution is used, whether to directly fund a specific community's efforts or to support the broader initiative — or both.
Support earmarked for The Balance Project overall helps fuel the development of future programming and content for use across all communities, operational costs, and growth and expansion efforts, whereas support earmarked for each community will go towards that individual community’s specific goals for the year.
Each local community’s 2025–2026 goals are outlined on the interactive map below, providing transparency and allowing you to align your support with the work that resonates most.
